Tweets: A Twitter App for LinkedIn

In your LinkedIn profile blue box, if you managed more than one Twitter account or wanted to promote your personal Twitter and your company’s Twitter account, you had to choose only one.

Until now.  Tweets is a Twitter App for LinkedIn that allows you to manage your Twitter account from within LinkedIn and add multiple Twitter accounts to your LinkedIn profile.

To use Tweets – follow these easy steps:

1. Open a new browser window and login to your LinkedIn account.  Then return to this post and click here to reach the app:

2. Confirm that you would like the app and you will be led to a page within LinkedIn with your Twitter feed.

3. To add additional Twitter accounts to your profile, open another browser window and login to the additional account on Twitter.

4. Return to the LinkedIn window with Tweets, click on Settings, then Go to Settings under Additional Twitter settings:

5. In the next window, click on “Add another Twitter account.”

 

6. This will bring you to the familiar Twitter “Deny/Allow” window – click Allow.

Repeat as necessary to include all your Twitter accounts (be sure to be signed into your next Twitter account prior to Steps 4 through 6).  When you return to your profile – you will see more than one Twitter account.
