Appreciating Duh Moments
Oprah uses the “A-Ha Moments” to describe life moments of clarity – the light bulb goes off. A person’s A-Ha Moments could offer others inspiration that their A-Ha Moment is lurking out there waiting to pounce.
I seem to have more “Duh Moments” lately as I continue to develop Gillis Marketing. I love it. They are grounding. Validating. Back to basics – the basics being important to promoting small businesses. As a glass is half full girl, Duh Moments thrill me that I once knew the point. I ignore that I forgot it and needed to be reminded.
Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson’s book, Rework, was full of Duh Moments for me and I couldn’t be more appreciative.

Busy guys wrote this book. So they got to the point, clearly and concisely in every chapter. I felt they respected my time. The rhythm of the book let me apply each lesson to my own circumstances instead of reading many stories why it matters to them. I experienced Duh Moments about marketing, business, life. Read this book with a notebook nearby to note your own Duh Moments. Enjoy the Duh Moments as a reset of your perspective.
I bet you find a few A-Ha Moments, too.

Thank you – I really appreciate your support, too!
Great idea! I am sure though, by the time I find my Duh notebook, I’ll have forgotten what I wanted to write down
